Ryuousen is one of the largest open tournaments hosted in Japan by Saikouisen where more than 2000 players participate each year.
 

The knock out tournament format where you play 2 Hanchans with the same players and only the top 2 players move on to the next round started here.​ Ryuousen will be using the current Saikouisen ruleset, but with a time limit and eased penalties. (Rules can be downloaded here).

 

​The winner of the Ryuousen USA Qualifiers will be invited to participate in the Ryuousen Main Matches in Japan! This exciting tournament format is open to everyone, regardless of being a Saikouisen pro or not!
