• Ippatsu, Ura Dora, Kan Dora, Kan Ura Allowed

• No ​Orasu Agariyame/Tenpaiyame (Forfeiting All Last Dealer via Win/Tenpai)

• Tenpai Renchan (Continuing Dealer via Tenpai)

• No ​Tochuu Ryukyoku (Abortive Draw)

• No Pao (Discarded Tile Solidifies a Yakuman)

• Stacking Yakuman Allowed

• No Kazoe Yakuman (Stacking 13 Han or More to Declare Yakuman)

• No Winning Kokushimusou on a Closed Kan

Saikouisen Classic Ruleset
(Differences Compared to Current Ruleset)

• Placement Points 1st  +12 Points  2nd  +4 Points  3rd  △4 Points  4th △12 Points

• Only First Displayed Dora is Used (No Kan Dora, Ura Dora)

• No Ippatsu Related Yaku

• No Kiriage for 4 Han 30 Fu, 3 Han 60 Fu (Non-Dealer 7,700 Dealer 11,600)

• Dealer Renchan Only if Hand is Won

• No Limitations on Discards (Genbutsu Kuikae Allowed)

• No Closed Kan Allowed After Riichi

• No Need to Display Hand Unless Riichi Player Wins Hand
  *No Penalty for Noten Riichi

• Players Who Chonbo Will Have △16 Points Deducted After Placement Points

Playing with Time Limit

• Play consciously so that you can finish the Hanchan in time

• Have smooth movement and refrain from excessively taking time to think

• Abbreviate the Shiipai (Light shuffle before dropping tiles into auto table)

• Able to discard prior to taking your called tiles. Fuuro (Call Tiles) order is not
  enforced as long as the motion is done in a timely manner

• Move to the next turn without waiting for the Riichi stick to be placed is allowed

• Exchanging point sticks immediately is allowed when confirming a winning hand
  (No need to wait until all players fold their hand to confirm a winning hand)

• ​A watch without communication feature may be placed on the side table for timekeeping

• Any other exceptions or changes with a ruleset will be communicated to all players prior the start of the game​
